Estimated Cost for Certified Operator
What is it Worth?
Everyone seems to have their own idea about the value of a certified pest control operator. Based on Pestcontrollicense.com consulting experience, it depends on the owner’s position and on the Certified Operator’s situation along with the agreement reached between them. Listed below are examples of what can be expected in terms of perceived value.
CERTIFIED PEST CONTROL OPERATOR IN Pest Control, Sub-Termite Control, Lawn and Ornamental, or Dry Wood Termites (Fumigation):
We have seen the fee go from $1000.00 to $1850.00 per month for one category to many categories of licensing. Variables to consider include whether the CPCO is hired for a job position or whether the CPCO is hired for the supervising of chemicals and training employees. The number of employees and what responsibilities will be included with the agreement also will contribute to cost.
MULTIPLE LICENSES: COMBINED LICENSES OF PC, SUB-TERMITE, L&O, AND FUME ARE USUALLY NEGOTIATED.
One license is usually a minimum of $1000.00. Additional licenses are usually more depending on the category. The amount also depends on how much work and how much responsibility (employees) there is for the CPCO. These prices do not reflect every case. The certified operator will negotiate the price with the owner.
THE CERTIFIED WILDLIFE CATEGORY VARIES DEPENDING ON THE STATE.
Licensees and owners can determine the value and establish that value within the terms of their agreement.
